Puppet-Based Workshop #1 Session 1

Service Description

Access the magic of puppetry to help your children navigate the difficult experiences of conflict; filled with powerful feelings for all parties involved. The workshop will be made up of 3 session; each 2 hours long, and will conclude with a copy of "Fuzzy" the Puppet being provided on renewable lease to each childcare center once the workshop has been successfully completed by each provider. Workshop will be given by program creator Ruth L. Flores Session #1 - Program Overview/ Puppetry training this will include with hands on experience for each participant/ Character Imersion and replication training for " Fuzzy" / workshop attendee classroom scenario creation and discussion Session #2 - Classic Incident #1 situational assessment/ chosing correct protocol/ emotions of students involved and how to provide "emotional first aid" / "Fuzzy as the third child" Session # 3 - Classic Incident #2 with proactive group work with "Fuzzy" practice with character immersion will continue with all participants having hands on experience using "Fuzzy" in scenarios that are created by fellow attendees posing as children in conflict.
